2026 Tom Jarman Friday Night Social Competition - Sep 2026

-Featuring Tom Jarman: Please note Tom is away for this event representing Australia at World Fly Fishing Tournament.

-Catch and Release

-Photos of fish on brag mat to be sent to mobile number advised prior to the competition session.

- Fished under VFA rules (two flies only)

- Fishing starts at 4:30pm and finishes at 7:30pm (times will move later as daylight allows)

- Drinks and presentation at BFFC after

- Prizes donated by Tom Jarman

- Two categories: boat and bank

- One boat equals one entry/team (as many anglers as you like may fish from the boat)

- Bank anglers fish as an individual

- $10 entry per boat/team

- $5 entry for bank anglers

Scoring

- Boat teams/ bank anglers may catch as many fish as they like. Up to five fish will be counted for scoring along with the longest two fish. For example, if all teams catch their limit of 5 fish then the combined length of their two largest fish decide the winner. If only one team catches 5 fish then they win. If two teams catch the 4 fish, then their longest two fish will decide the winner.
