Join us for a special community screening of the award-winning Australian film Just a Farmer in Ballarat. Brought to you by Central Vic Regen Farmers - ticket cost $FREE - and Afternoon Tea supplied by Ballarat Wholefoods Collective.

Local farmer, Leila McDougall, the Film Writer & Executive Producer as well as starring in the movie will be attending our event and joining the Panel for QandA at the end of the showing.

More than just a film, this is an opportunity to bring people together, spark meaningful conversations about mental health, and strengthen connections within our rural community. Guests will enjoy a screening of Just a Farmer, with the opportunity to connect with others and continue the conversation following the film.Just a Farmer authentically portrays the challenges and triumphs of life in rural Australia through the story of a resilient farming family. The film shines a light on the mental health challenges faced by regional communities while celebrating hope, connection, and the importance of supporting one another.

More than a movie, Just a Farmer has become a movement, encouraging conversations that reduce stigma and remind people that no one has to face life's challenges alone.

Released in 2024, Just a Farmer is rated M (15+), has a running time of 103 minutes, and contains mature themes, including suicide and alcohol misuse.
