Do you have a baby ready to start or has started solids?
This FREE program is designed for parents in the Ballarat region with babies around 5-9 months.
Facilitated by a Dietitian and Maternal & Child Health Nurse, you'll learn the basics to starting solids. Such as; appropriate textures, introducing allergens, managing fussy eating and how to create a positive meal-time experience.
We get it, introducing solids can be overwhelming! We have created this program to give you a great opportunity to ask questions and learn from qualified health professionals.
Sessions at Lucas Community Hub are run Thursdays 3-4pm every second month, starting January 2026.
This service is provided by Ballarat Community Health in partnership with the City of Ballarat Maternal & Child Health.
